Assalamualaikum wbt, for today I would like to share my experience after a few attempt on repairing electronic devices. I'm not sure how it started, but troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuit really makes me feel somehow great. As for the start I would like to share a few of the devices I bought to help me Along the process :

This is a Pro's Kit MT-1280 3 1/2 Digital Multimeter, I would highly recommend this over Fluke considering the value of this device is much cheaper.

HAKKO PRESTO SOLDERING IRON

• Boost switch can immediately raise power from 20W in normal operation mode to 130W, enabling high-speed heatup
• The HAKKO Presto can be used for a wide range of applications from simple repair of electric appliances to soldering of large components such as transformers
• Supplied heat-resistant element cover makes it ideal for onsite servicing and repair
• 20W when used in normal operation, but can be heated up to 130W when the boost switch pressed.

Press the boost switch when a large amount of heat is temporarily required; for example, when quick heatup is needed (the unit becomes ready to solder within around 20 sec.) or when soldering relays and connectors.
